D-Now Weekend
We are excited to participate in a community D-Now retreat on March 9-11. We will be joining First Baptist Church, Heber Springs Baptist Church, and Assembly of God for a weekend of Discipleship, Worship, Mission work, and Fellowship. We will be hosting the event here at FUMC and providing fellowship meals to all participants and volunteers on Friday and Saturday nights. If you wish to help prepare and serve the meals to teenagers, please contact Mrs. Alesha to get signed up.
We need 15 host families for the Youth D-Now Weekend. Host families will provide: a place to sleep in their home, hospitality and meals to our teenagers, but will also participate in the entire weekend’s events of worship, fellowship, a service project, and leading the devotions provided for your small group of teenagers. Each home will host no more than 6 teenagers. The D-Now weekend will be from 5:00 pm on Friday, March 9 thru noon on Sunday, March 11. If you feel God’s call to host a group of precious & hungry teenagers, please contact Mrs. Alesha.
