We love children! We believe that children are a precious gift from God, to be honored and loved. The teachers and dedicated volunteers touch the lives of children birth through sixth grade.

Our mission is to equip children for life through the knowledge of Jesus Christ, so they may grow in their faith and respond to God's love with open hearts.

First United Methodist Church Heber Springs recognizes the importance of providing a safe, holy and harmonious place for children and youth to worship, play, learn and grow in faith and for the adult workers who lead them.

FAITHWEAVER/FLYTE REGISTRATION FORM

This quarter in FaithWeaver Friends/FLYTE we are collecting items to put together valentine gift bags for residents of a local nursing home.  While some residents regularly see family members, others don’t and could benefit from this encouragement.    Here are the items we are collecting: 

   *Stationary or notepad and pen
   *Sugar-free candy
   *Hand lotion
   *Lip balm

We will assemble the gift bags and make valentines to go with them on Wednesday, February 8, in FaithWeaver Friends.  Kids may start bringing items Wednesday, January 18, and place them in the large valentine box in the Fellowship Hall.   This is a great way for kids to learn the value of serving others.  Thank you for helping.
