Welcome:
As the Mother's Day out Director, I would like to welcome your to our program. Thank you for choosing First United Methodist Church as the place to enroll your child. I look forward to working with t he kids as well as the parents.

Our Purpose:
The purpose of First United Methodist Church Mother's Day Out is to minister to both parents and the children. We want to allow you time away from your kids to have a necessary break, and to give your children and opportunity to learn and play with other kids their age. We strive to provide a safe and loving environment for each child so their love for others and God will grow. We desire to provide activities that will strengthen your children physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Enrollment:
Present Mother's Day Out members will be given priority, initially as children as enrolled for each new year. Following this enrollment will be open to any child.

Ages:
We accept children from 6 weeks to four years.  Our classes are divided up by birthdates, and we strive to keep the children in the appropriate classes due to the activities performed in each class.

Days:
Mother's Day Out runs on the same schedule as the Heber Springs School District. We will be open on Mondays and Wednesdays during the summer months, and Monday, Wednesday, and half day Friday during the School Year.

Time:
We are open from 8:00AM until 3:30PM (12:00PM on Firdays:. Please do not bring your child before 8:00AM, teachers need these last few minutes tobe ready to greet your child when your arrive. A late fee of $5.00 for each 15-minute segment (or portion thereof) is charged if your child is not picked up by 3:30PM (12:00PM on Fridays).

Holidays:
We follow the dame school year calender as the Heber Springs School District. When the school is closed, we will be closed.

Bad Weather:
If the school is closed, or dismisses early due to bad weather, Mother's Day out will also be closed.

A two week's notice is required when having your child leaver our program. Failure to do so will result in a full month's fee.
